CATFEST 4 - THE REAL, ACTUAL OFFICIAL POSTER

THIS is the real, actual official CATFEST4 poster that has been sent to the printers, 1000 A4 copies arriving on Thurs.

I have been working all morning on a number of revisions, the easiest of which was adding "FREE ENTRY, DONATIONS WELCOME' to the text, and the hardest of which was starting from scratch cutting out the image of Jazzman.

The most noticeable is the the addition of a selection of the Cats along the bottom of the page - apologies if you're not in the picture, time is against me! Particular apologies to Liz - after all, the drummers only hit things. Hahahahahaha!

The first design was, perhaps, a better poster. I hope I haven't compromised too much. I wanted to go with the design below, but the omission of any details did, even to me, seem a trifle frivolous -

My urge to make the image stark & minimal will probably prove unpopular with some people. And they are probably right, my earliest ideas were certainly eye-catching. They might even have been described as eye-ball grabbing ...

With time running short until the big day, last night I sent the above design to the printers without consulting ANYONE. Hahahahahahaha !

I'll be laughing diabolically on one of the other sides of my faces when people start pointing out all the diabolical tpyos.

We've taken a different approach this time - rather than double-sided A5 fliers we've gone for 1000 A4 posters. I say 'we' - I actually made this decision without consulting ANYONE. Hahahahahahaha !
